Returns & Refund Policy

At Japan Standards, we take great care in selecting and preparing every product we ship. Our goal is for each customer to enjoy authentic Japanese quality with confidence.

Return Eligibility

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that:

• The item is unused and in its original condition
• The product is returned in its original packaging
• The request is submitted within the return period

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items such as opened cosmetics or personal care products may not be eligible for return unless the product arrived damaged or defective.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the item and packaging. Our team will promptly arrange a replacement or refund.

Return Process

To begin a return request, please contact our support team with the following information:

• Order number
• Name used for the order
• Reason for return
• Photos if the item is damaged

Once approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

Return Shipping

Unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service to ensure the item reaches us safely.

Refunds

After the returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear depending on your payment provider.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return:

• Opened or used cosmetic products
• Personal care items once opened
• Gift cards
• Items marked as final sale
